Sendai Lunch Speakers is an innovative Toastmasters club where you can effectively learn English presentation skills during your one hour lunch break. Through enjoyable English speeches, you will enhance your English proficiency and communication abilities. 

We meet three times a month on Thursdays (12:05~13:00) in a hybrid format. You can　join us in person at the lush Tohoku University campus or participate online from anywhere in Japan or the world. 

Mark your calendar for November 21st (Thursday)! We will host a special Open House event, and everyone is welcome to join. As an English/Japanese bilingual club, we also warmly welcome those interested in learning Japanese. Our members come from diverse locations such as Taiwan, Hawaii, Kyoto, Kumamoto, and Tokyo. Discover a green oasis in Sendai, where you can connect with friendly and motivated individuals. 

During the Open House, guests can experience Table Topics, an impromptu speaking session, where you can try out mini-speeches in English or Japanese. Don’t worry if you think Toastmasters is a place with a high-barrier —it’s a friendly place where mistakes are part of the learning journey. Whether you want to make the most of your lunch break, join an English study group, or develop confident presentation techniques, we’d love for you to join us.
